MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — As dental health advocates work to remove barriers to dental care among underserved populations in Minnesota, three new Aspen Dental-branded practices are scheduled to open in October and November – making access to dental care even easier for residents in the North Star State.

Appointments are now available at the three practices which are scheduled to open on Oct. 19 in Baxter; Nov. 2 in Oak Park Heights; and Nov. 9 in Willmar. The offices will be open Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as well as select Saturdays. Walk-in and emergency patients are welcome. Services at the offices will include general dentistry, dentures and denture repairs, preventive care, and restoration services.

The new Baxter office is led by Dr. Feliciano Salgado, who received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Hassan Ismail, who received his DDS degree from Aleppo University, will lead the Oak Park Heights practice. And Dr. Kou Thao, who also received his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota, will lead the Willmar office.

The offices will bring much-needed access to affordable, quality dental care to these communities which are located in counties designated as dental health professional shortage areas by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

In addition to improved care access, the offices will provide economic benefits. According to a study by Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, each new Aspen Dental practice supports local community growth by contributing nearly $4 million in positive economic impact through job creation and capital investment.

The new Aspen Dental offices offer patient-friendly programs and services to make it easier for patients to get the dental care they need, including:

  • Personalized treatment and friendly service. Each patient will receive a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan designed by the dentist with long-term oral and overall health in mind. Available services include hygiene, treatment of gum disease, extractions, fillings, oral surgery, whitening, and crown and bridge work.
  • Affordable dental care. Aspen Dental practices are committed to keeping prices fair so that patients can get the care they need. The three practices will work with insurance providers and handle the paperwork to save patients time and hassle, and offer free new-patient exams and X-rays to those who do have insurance. The practices also offer clear, detailed estimates on the cost of treatment to give patients peace of mind as well as a variety of financing options.
  • On-site denture lab and a Denture Money Back Guarantee. The practices are equipped with on-site denture laboratories, which help facilitate quick turnaround for denture repairs, relines or adjustments. The practices will offer seven styles of full and partial dentures so patients can be reassured that the teams will go above and beyond to ensure proper fit and comfort of their custom-crafted dentures. Getting used to dentures takes some time, but if patients are dissatisfied with their dentures for any reason – the practices will refund the cost of the dentures when patients return them within 90 days. The practices repairs all dentures, not just those purchased at Aspen Dental.
